Easy Crock Pot Chili Recipe
Servings: 6
Ingredients
- 1 lb Lean ground beef
- 1 Small onion, chopped
- 2 Cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 Can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 Can tomato sauce
- 1 Can chili beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 Can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 tbsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Shredded cheese
Instructions
- Cook the ground beef until brown then drain. Put all the ingredients, except for cheese, into the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Top it off with cheese and enjoy!
I used to add water in my chili, but it made the chili too watery. With tomato sauce and diced tomatoes, it helps create some liquid in the chili. The liquid is thick and not watery. If you want your chili spicy, you can add more chili powder. I always add more in mine.
